Murder Manslaughter Court Decisions in

John Thomas Cockerell, jun., 32, fisherman ; James Clark,
21, gardener ;and John R. Purchase, 18, baker and confectioner, were brought up,
charged with the manslaughter of one Daniel Driscoll. Mr. C. J. Blakeney
appeared to watch the case on behalf of the prisoner Cockerell.

Domane was charged with having,on
the 27th August last, at the Twelve-mile Corner,
on the Brisbane River, feloniously, wilfully,
and of his malice aforethought, killed and murdered
one William Ronaldson Sewell.
The
prisoner pleaded not guilty, and was defended
by Mr.
Pring (Bio).
